I Wonder?

James 4:7-10
"Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and He will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up."
James 4:7-10
This verse makes me think of all the people who don't know Christ, and how hard it is to come to Him, growing up in a Christian home it is diffrent, you are just brought into the word. But I also think that we as belivers should take this verse in context and when we stumble we should look to the Cross and look through Scripture (as like this verse) and let the Holy Spirit bring us to repentance. So this is starting to not make any sence what-so-ever, so what do you guy's think of this verse????
