It reminmds me of the movie, which reminds me of the Causelties list that I have which is 43 pages long. So thus it reminds me of how many lives we lost during World War Two.

I LOVE reading about World war Two and Vietnam. But I especaill like reading about the fight for Iwo Jima, I love to talk to the vetrans about it, we know a guy who was in WW2 and his wife say's he still has nightmares about it.

Interesting story. I used to work at a nursing home in a wing for folks with Alzheimer's and dimentia. I really got to know some of the people too, and they all had some very endearing quirks. One guy, Richard, was a combat veteran of WWII and he would say the most random things. We were talking with him at the nursing station once and he suddenly yelled out, "GET BACK IN YOUR FOXHOLES BOYS, HERE COMES ANOTHER ONE!" and ran back to his room.

Not to long ago I had the opportunity to hear a veteran talk about Vietnam. So many years ago, but he couldn't stop remembering nightmares. Finally, he wrote a book about it, so that he could get it outside of himself a bit. I have one of the few copies of his book that was written, since it wasn't released in stores. As he told some of his experiences, he had to stop often so that he wouldn't cry any harder.

I think that if I'm not in Marine Corps boot camp then it would be Awsome to run with one, they seem really intelegent and like they have LOTS of stories to tell, And by the way I will be posting a picture of me and Chris (after his graduation) on my Blog, so James you know exactly who's blog you are typing on, and ny real name is Alyssa, Anna told me about you, and I think it is AWSOME that you want to go into the Marines, You have ALL my support and appreciation. I know what it feels like to have a brother in the Marines, it's a great felling.

That's Awsome James. Hopefully I will get to know you better before you go. I'm really excited to meet someone who is a Christian and is plaining on going into the military, becuase most of Chris' friends in Boot Camp were'nt, and he really didn't want us to meet them. And I'm sorry Gracey, I just wasn't thinking when I used your name, will you forgive me?!?!?!
